To my incredible community,
This letter has been sitting in my heart for a long time.
For years, Pine and Bear has been a space where I poured my creativity, my love of storytelling, and my commitment to honoring real life. It grew from a tiny seed into something beautiful—something I’ll always be proud of. But lately, I’ve felt a shift. A calling. One that’s been impossible to ignore.
That calling is Unposed.
Unposed was born from the quiet, in-between moments. The kind you almost miss if you’re not paying attention—your child’s small hand resting on your chest, the light hitting your kitchen table just right, a glance between partners when no one else is looking. It’s not about picture-perfect outfits or curated chaos. It’s about truth. Your real life, exactly as it is. And it deserves to be remembered.
I want to give myself fully to this new chapter. To pour everything I’ve learned—technically, creatively, emotionally—into work that feels deeply aligned with who I am and what matters most to me now.
This isn’t a goodbye to what Pine and Bear gave me. It’s a deep bow of gratitude. To every client, collaborator, and friend who trusted me with their stories: thank you. You helped me become the artist I am today.
If you’ve been here for the journey, I hope you’ll stay. Unposed is more than a name—it’s a promise. A promise to slow down. To see people as they are. To make space for the sacred ordinary.
With all my heart,
Chaney <3
